WITH DOUBLE-DIGIT GROWTH ACROSS LINEAR AND STREAMING PLATFORMS
NHL total audience up 29% year-over-year and streaming minutes surge 46% through October 25;
NBA season tips off with strong early results through October 24, up 12% in total audience while unique streamers increase 56%
SOUTHPORT, Conn. – October 29, 2025 – FanDuel Sports Network, operated by Main Street Sports Group, today reported strong early-season, growth across its NHL and NBA coverage, fueled by rapid streaming adoption and continued strength in linear performance.
Through the first three weeks of the NHL season with its seven partners:
- Total audience (linear + direct-to-consumer + TV everywhere) is up 29% year-over-year (YoY), marking one of the strongest starts to an NHL season in recent years.
- Total minutes streamed up 46%
- Unique streamers up 47%
- TV audience up 26%
Through the first three nights of the NBA season with 12 of its 13 partners in action on the network:
- Total audience up 12%
- Total minutes streamed up 36%
- Unique streamers up 56%
- TV audience up 7%
These gains reflect FanDuel Sports Network’s continued focus on accessibility and platform expansion, with games available through the FanDuel Sports Network app, Prime Video, and pay TV providers. Connected TV apps now account for 73% of all streaming minutes, highlighting that more fans are watching in shared, living-room environments as streaming becomes their primary way to follow hometown teams.
