Brian Sieman returns as Clippers play-by-play announcer and will be joined by lead game analyst Jim Jackson, a 14-year NBA veteran who enters his fifth season on the broadcast. Former NBA Coach of the Year and longtime commentator Mike Fratello also returns as an analyst.
Jaime Maggio and Lauren Rosen will report from courtside, with Rosen also hosting “Clippers Live” coverage from road games.
FanDuel Sports Network has bolstered its lead-in to game nights, with Verrett – a longtime national sports anchor and respected voice – joining as a host of “Clippers Live” pregame, postgame and halftime coverage for home games.
Verrett will also anchor “FanDuel Sports Network Countdown Live,” a new one-hour whip-around style show that will tap into the network’s talent to give viewers an inside look at games set to be played across the country. Airing each weekday ahead of local pregame coverage, “Countdown Live” will feature on-site reporting and analysis, look-ins to warmups, breaking news, and more.
“Clippers Live” begins 30 minutes before tipoff and will feature analysis from Jackson, Fratello and new analysts Barry and Barnes. Barry, a former first-round pick, played three seasons for the franchise, while Barnes began his 14-year NBA career with the Clippers in 2004 and returned from 2012-15. New this season, pregame and postgame shows will be broadcast directly from the court, offering fans a more immersive and up-close experience before tipoff and after the final buzzer.
“This Clippers broadcast crew underscores our network’s strategy to combine nationally respected voices with local relevance and to bring fans closer to the action than ever before,” said Larry Holm, FanDuel Sports Network Vice President of Production overseeing live NBA coverage. “We’re excited to add Stan, Brent and Matt to this year’s roster and to give Clippers fans even more analysis and perspective around our live game coverage.”
“Clippers Weekly” returns to the network’s programming lineup for a 12th season. The half-hour show takes fans behind the scenes with exclusive content, features, and more. A season preview episode premieres tonight (Monday, Oct. 20), at 8 p.m. PT.
