FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE APRIL 18, 2025
FANDUEL SPORTS NETWORK IS LOCAL HOME FOR THUNDER ROUND 1 PLAYOFF SERIES
Broadcast crew that has covered the Thunder all season will deliver enhanced TV and streaming coverage
OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City Thunder fans are ready to lock in and get loud for the 2025 NBA Playoffs, and they can watch the first round along with the hometown broadcast team that has called the action all season long on FanDuel Sports Network.
Coming off a season of significant viewership growth, FanDuel Sports Network’s coverage of the Thunder’s best-of-seven first-round series against either the Memphis Grizzlies or Dallas Mavericks begins with Game 2 on Tuesday, April 22. Games will air on FanDuel Sports Network Oklahoma and stream on the FanDuel Sports Network app and at FanDuelSportsNetwork.com – except for any games broadcast nationally on ABC.
Game 1 is set to air exclusively on ABC, however local postgame coverage can be streamed on the FanDuel Sports Network app and at FanDuelSportsNetwork.com.
Tuesday’s Game 2 coverage begins at 6 p.m. (CT) with the “Thunder Live” pregame show. Tipoff from Paycom Center follows at 6:30 p.m., with play-by-play announcer Chris Fisher calling the action alongside analyst Michael Cage. Reporters Nick Gallo and Paris Lawson will take fans courtside, chronicling the top storylines throughout the series.
“Thunder Live” postgame coverage will follow each game, including interviews, analysis and highlights. Lawson will host pregame, postgame and halftime coverage, joined by analyst Royce Young.
FanDuel Sports Network’s NBA Playoffs telecasts will also feature advanced visualizations powered by Sportradar. Added to the production for the first time, these real-time visualizations use skeletal tracking data to generate precise 3D animations, heat maps, and performance metrics, enhancing in-game analysis and creating a more immersive experience for viewers.
Thunder coverage on FanDuel Sports Network has driven some of the largest viewership growth in the NBA this season. The average streaming audience for Thunder games in the FanDuel Sports Network app is up 56% over last year, with the total minutes streamed for the season up 83%.
