1. "Your current geographic location could not be determined."
If you see this message, your device can't share where you are—so FanDuel Sports Network can't confirm if you're in your home region or traveling.
What to Do:
- Turn off any VPN or location-masking software. These can interfere with FanDuel Sports Network's location checks.
- Uninstall and reinstall the FanDuel Sports Network app.
- Log back into your account.
- Restart both your WiFi router and your device.
- Try streaming again.
2. "Out of Area" or "Blank Screen" Errors
This often happens when FanDuel Sports Network detects you’re outside your home area.
What to Do:
- Ensure you're not using VPN or any external network, which can make the app think you're somewhere else.
- Reset your device’s location settings.
- Make sure FanDuel Sports Network has permission to use location services.
- Restart your device and WiFi connection to refresh everything.
3. Fixing 'Device Not Registered' Errors
The "Device not registered" error message appears when you have reached the maximum number of devices that can be registered to your FanDuel Sports Network account. A device is automatically registered when you sign in from it.
What to Do:
To resolve this issue, you will need to remove a registered device from your account. Here's how to do it:
- Go to the Account Section: Navigate to the "Account" section of your FanDuel Sports Network app or website.
- Find "Manage Devices": Within the Account section, find and select "Manage Devices."
- Remove Devices: From this page, you can view the list of all devices currently registered to your account. To resolve the error, you will need to remove devices.
4. "App Update Required" (No Update Available)
If the app tells you it needs to update but no new version shows up, here’s what to do:
- Go to the app store on your device.
- If automatic updates are off, manually download the latest FanDuel Sports Network app.
- If that doesn't work, delete the old app and then install it fresh from the store. Your credentials will remain the same.
