Updating Your Home ZIP Code & What It Means for You
1. Why does my Home Zip code matter?
Your Home ZIP Code plays a key role in determining:
- What content and teams you can access within FanDuel Sports Network. Your local TV channels' content is tied to your home region.
- Activation of Local (Couch) Rights: To unlock 30 days of streaming while away from home, you must first stream content from within your home zip code.
2. How can I view my current Home Zip code
To check which ZIP Code your account is using:
- Sign in to your account on the FanDuel Sports Network app or website.
- Navigate to Settings → Account Details.
- Look for the field labeled "Home Zip Code"—your current setting is displayed there.
3. Can I update my Home zip code?
That depends on your subscription status:
- If you are not yet subscribed:
- You can change your Home ZIP directly.
- On the website: go to Account Details → scroll to Home Zip Code → enter and click Update.
- On the mobile app: open the app, tap More → Account Details → Home Zip Code, then enter and tap Update.
- On a connected TV device: navigate to Settings → Account → Home Zip Code, enter the new ZIP, and choose Update.
- If you are already subscribed:
- You cannot update the ZIP yourself.
- Please contact FanDuel Sports Network Support via live chat or email to request a change.
Why This Matters—Streaming from a Different Location
Streaming outside your Home ZIP is allowed for up to 30 days after your first stream outside the area—thanks to couch rights. Beyond this time, or if you change ZIP without support, you’ll lose access until you return home or update your ZIP through support.
