What are Couch Rights?
Couch Rights—also known as Local Rights—allow you to stream your home region’s content even when you're away from home. Here's how they work:
- Activation: To activate Couch Rights, stream content at least once within your Home ZIP code. This necessary step defines your Home Territory.
- Duration: Once activated, you can stream FanDuel Sports Network from anywhere in the U.S. for up to 30 days, as long as you’re outside your Home Territory
- After Expiration: Once the 30-day period ends, streaming outside your Home Territory will no longer work. Simply return home and the app will reset your access.
Troubleshooting Couch Rights Issues
If you encounter errors related to Couch Rights—even when you’re at home—try these steps:
Double-check your detected location.
- Go to Account → Account Details.
- Ensure the “Current location detected” matches your Home Territory.
- If not, tap the Refresh Location icon to update it.

If you receive Couch Rights errors, reset access by returning to your Home zipcode. You can also contact customer support for assistance.
