FanDuel Sports Network Appoints Steve Simpson to Lead South and Southeast Regions
Announces Strategic Evolution of General Manager Position to New Role of EVP, Team Partnerships
Southport, CONN. – February 20, 2025 – FanDuel Sports Network, owned and operated by Main Street Sports Group, today announced that Steve Simpson will now oversee FanDuel Sports Network South and FanDuel Sports Network Southeast as Executive Vice President, Team Partnerships for the networks. Simpson, who currently leads team partnerships for the network’s West/SoCal, Southwest/Oklahoma and Midwest/Kansas City/Indiana regions, brings over 25 years of experience to this position.
Following the retirement of longtime industry leader Jeff Genthner, Simpson will assume oversight of FanDuel Sports Network’s most expansive territory and spearhead all team partnerships across the region, ensuring continued alignment and strategic growth. Simpson will be responsible for partnerships with the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Hornets, Carolina Hurricanes, Memphis Grizzlies and Nashville Predators.

In addition, FanDuel Sports Network announced a strategic evolution in leadership titles, transitioning from General Manager to Executive Vice President, Team Partnerships. This change underscores the network’s commitment to prioritizing team relationships and ensuring seamless collaboration with key partners to drive regional and local initiatives.
The EVPs, Team Partnerships will play a pivotal role in advancing FanDuel Sports Network’s strategic operations and growth efforts. The full regional leadership team includes Simpson, Randy Stephens (Ohio/Great Lakes, North/Wisconsin and Detroit) and Steve Tello (Florida/Sun). All three executives now report directly to DeVoe.
