Diamond Sports and Comcast Reach Agreement to Return FanDuel Sports Network RSNs to Xfinity TV Customers
On July 28, 2024 Xfinity reached a new agreement with DSG to carry its RSN, FanDuel Sports Network, including all related Xfinity Stream content. At this time, all content has been restored.
FanDuel Sports Network owns and operates 14 RSN channels nationwide, including:
- FanDuel Sports Network Detroit: Airing games from the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Red Wings, and Detroit Pistons
- FanDuel Sports Network Florida: Airing games from the Miami Marlins and Orlando Magic
- FanDuel Sports Network Hybrid (Indiana): Airing games from the Cincinnati Reds, Detroit Tigers, Columbus Blues, Indiana Pacers, and Detroit Pistons
- FanDuel Sports Network Midwest Missouri: Airing games from the Kansas City Royals and St. Louis Blues
- FanDuel Sports Network Midwest: Airing games from the St. Louis Cardinals, KC Royals, St. Louis Blues, Indiana Pacers, and Memphis Grizzlies
- FanDuel Sports Network North: Airing games from the Minnesota Twins, Minnesota Wild, and Minnesota Timberwolves

- FanDuel Sports Network Southeast: Airing games from the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Hornets, and Memphis Grizzlies
- FanDuel Sports Network Sun: Airing games from the Tampa Bay Rays, Tampa Bay Lightning, and Miami Heat
- FanDuel Sports Network Southwest: Airing games from the Texas Rangers and Dallas Mavericks
- Houston market does not carry the Dallas Mavericks
- FanDuel Sports Network West: Airing games from the Los Angeles Angels
As part of this new agreement, FanDuel Sports Network will move to the Digital Preferred tier for legacy video customers and Ultimate TV tier for customers in X1 packaging (Modular and/or Your Choice). It was previously available in the Sports & News, Extra, Digital Starter, Popular TV, and Starter Latino TV packages. This channel move is one of the ways Xfinity is working to ensure customers have a wide variety of content available at the best value.
If you have a package that includes a tier of service that no longer includes FanDuen Sports Network, you will continue to receive a credit for the FanDuel Sports Network portion of the RSN fee.

FAQs
How do programming agreements work?
Xfinity pays networks and station owners for the ability to deliver their programming to customers. We negotiate agreements to bring customers the best value for the content they want. For more information, see xfinity.com/howitworks.
What is the RSN Fee?
The RSN Fee is an itemized charge based on Xfinity’s costs of providing RSNs like Bally Sports.
How are you informing customers of this change?
Customers were notified of the channel expiration by email and on-screen notifications on affected channels. If you’re impacted by the channel move, you'll receive an email and see a message on your monthly bill statement.
How can I upgrade my video package to get Bally Sports?
Existing customers can sign into xfinty.com and click on Shop deals and more under Need to change your plan to see upgrade options.
If you live at a property where base Xfinity services are included and you have the option to upgrade your service plan, you can sign into your standalone account at xfinty.com and click on Shop deals and more under Need to change your plan to see upgrade options.
If you live in a location where base Xfinity services are included and your property management doesn't allow individual upgrades, you will not be able to subscribe to the video tier that contains FanDuel Sports Network.
Are you adding any channels to replace FanDuel Sports Network ?
No. Xfinity is not getting rid of Bally Sports. It is just including it in a different TV tier of service.
What happened to my scheduled DVR recordings?
If you’re not subscribed to the Digital Preferred tier and Ultimate TV tier, your DVR won’t record any new or future programming on FanDuel Sports Network, and you won't be able to watch the channel anymore. You can still watch programming from FanDuel Sports Network that you previously recorded.
Where can I continue watching similar programming?
Great sports programming, including NBA, NHL, and MLB national coverage, is still available with Xfinity. Just say “sports” into your Xfinity Voice Remote to explore your options. You can also press “C” on your Xfinity Voice Remote to go to Sports Zone and see available sports content.
Note: Subscriptions may be required for apps and streaming services.
