Bally Sports is now FanDuel Sports Network - FAQ's

Last updated Oct 2024

Is FanDuel Sports Network the new Bally Sports?

Yes we are! We’ve recently rebranded our TV networks and app offering from Bally Sports and Bally Sports+ to FanDuel Sports Network (no + included with the app). We’re thrilled to be partnering with FanDuel, and while fans can continue to enjoy coverage on our networks, we’ll be introducing new features and more exclusive content (coming soon). Our goal is to make FanDuel Sports Network the nation’s leading provider of local sports with 16 Regional Sports Networks (aka "RSNs") that provide live broadcasts of local teams and other sports content with a streaming subscription, or through a cable, satellite or streaming TV provider. These RSNs are the TV home to an extensive network of MLB, NHL, and NBA teams nationwide, meaning we produce thousands of local telecasts every year in the U.S.

Did FanDuel purchase Bally Sports and create FanDuel Sports Network?

No, they did not. FanDuel and FanDuel Sports Network (formerly Bally Sports) are run by two independent companies. We collaborated with FanDuel on a naming partnership and will continue to operate separately.

What is the difference between FanDuel Sports Network and FanDuel TV?

FanDuel Sports Network is a group of Regional Sports Networks (RSNs) owned by Diamond Sports Group that provide live sports broadcasts of local teams and other sports content.

FanDuel TV gives you access to live racing, sports, wagering insights, and analysis from top personalities. Watch FanDuel TV. FanDuel TV and FanDuel Sports Network (formerly Bally Sports) are owned and operated by independent companies.

Why is the network name changing?

We saw an opportunity to partner with a brand that represents the type of evolution we want for our business.  While right now this transition is predominately a rebrand, there will be future advancements in our offering that enhance the sports viewing experience.

What changes can we expect with the rebranding?

You can expect changes in the company's visual identity, such as logo, colors, and overall design. There will also be changes to the company's brand messaging, tone of voice, and communication style.

I'm looking for Bally Sports North/West/South etc. but can't find it.

Our RSN names are adjusting along with the overall FanDuel Sports Network rebrand. For example, Bally Sports North became FanDuel Sports Network North.

Will the channel numbers for the Bally Sports regional networks change?

No.

When can I download the new FanDuel Sports Network app?

Great news, the Bally Sports app has been updated to the FanDuel Sports Network app. If you have automatic updates enabled, the app will transition automatically; if not, there will be a forced update to the app when you try to access the old Bally Sports app on your device.

Will my log-in information change?

If you had Bally Sports before, your login credentials remain the same.

Customers who received Bally Sports through a TV provider will continue to connect with their existing TV provider's username/password to stream live content on FanDuel Sports Network.

Streaming subscriptions purchased through the Bally Sports app will remain active in the FanDuel Sports Network app.

I already have a FanDuel account for betting, fantasy, or casino. Can I use that log-in information to get FanDuel Sports Network?

No. FanDuel and FanDuel Sports Network are two independently owned and operated companies. You can use your existing Bally Sports log-in to watch live, local games---or sign up today to get streaming if FanDuel Sports Network is available in your area.

My Bally Sports app went away. What happened?

The Bally Sports app has been updated to the FanDuel Sports Network app. If you don’t see the updated app, check your app store for pending updates.

My Bally Sports app hasn’t changed to the FanDuel Sports Network app?

You may not have automatic updates enabled, so you will need to manually update the app. If this does not resolve the problem, delete the Bally Sports app and download the FanDuel Sports Network app. If you’re still having issues, visit help.fanduelsportsnetwork.com/contactus

Will there be any changes to the subscription pricing or payment terms as part of the rebranding?

There will not be changes to our subscription pricing or payment terms as part of the rebranding. If any changes occur, the company will communicate them clearly and well in advance to minimize any impact on our customers.

With the channels rebranding, does the programming change?

Despite this name change, our core local NBA, NHL, MLB and WNBA programming remains the same. However, this partnership with FanDuel will unlock new opportunities, and we look forward to expanding our content offerings in the future.

How do I update my Bally Sports app to FanDuel Sports Network?

Customers who already have the Bally Sports app installed on their devices will be required to update the app. You do not need to download a new app. Login credentials remain the same as what you used when we were called Bally Sports.
